  • Well, I sold an item on amazon, will net me £16ish after postage. Also listed some stuff on gumtree, someone coming to look tomorrow, hopefully £40 there. With my £24 last week I transferred from old accounts (some of them were just pennies), thats actually not a bad start for me as I only joined last week. I will add my January total tomorrow when i worked it out!
My aims for february with this challenge is to sell more on ebay and amazon, do mystery shops (I already MS from time to time) maybe look into matched betting now I get the gist of it. Aiming for £500 in month of february.
  • can't believe that jan is over already. It's crazy!!
I'm very proud of my total this month, it actually means that my £35 a day for jan has been successful! Feb won't be as easy, cos I don't have a years worth of sealed pot to count up! Plus we have Valentine's day coming up, although the little list above may come in handy for that!!

    Once again...must ebay lol

I have had a great idea for something I can sell on ebay in the way of craft, but I would have to set it up as a business and am worried about tax and all that stuff. Not sure how that would work out, do you think I should list a couple and see how they do and then decide?

Thats what i did,i tried a few listings out,i was totally overwhelmed by the response and decided that i had to register as a business, etc before the tax man hunted me down! :rotfl:i think there is a link in the first post in this thread.

Ive had a good day so far! Ive saved £16 on postal orders by getting OH to write cheques for me and i give him the cash, why i never thought of this before i dont know! Plus £2 i found in my OH 's pocket when doing the washing (shhh...!) so in the pot it went! I had a great ebay sale last night too :D

I joined 888bingo via topcashback and got an email to confirm already so hopefully thats £35.35 extra in a few months, not won anything on the bingo games yet though but deposited £10 and got £25 bonus so £35 to play with.

Won £25 on premium bonds, so will add that to my total later today when I have worked everything out.

Hope you all have a good money making day:j

Well thats my bar shifts finished until Friday. It was so quiet that we closed early but I managed to eek out my pay to midnite so I'm only losing a half hour :j

Both ebay items have now been paid and I'll post them later on :D.

Hopefully February might prove more fruitful :o
  • What does everyone think on police auctions? I've just googled and signed up to one but is it a scam?

Just started a delivery job of a weekend which earns me a bit of extra money and also stops me spending so much! Plus I can be taxi for my friends once I've finished so this should help me reach my goal.

Also, can anyone tell me how to add personal notes on the bottom of each post I make? Not sure on how to do it!

    Thank youuuuuu

  • my day just keeps getting better! the insurers made an offer on the car,a whopping £1800! My OH is thrilled and said that i can have my money back, which in turn makes me very happy as i thought i would never see it again! :rotf: i will add it once its in the bank. I also had a bingo win of £24! :D
    ;)
  • Got my first payment from a survey website today, £3! It's far and away the best survey site I have used so far. Toluna is taking ages to reach a payout stage and I won't be continuing with it once I have reached £15. OnePoll is a bit hit and miss and I think it will take me the rest of the year to reach £40! I don't like globaltestmarket as I always get screened out. Panelbase seems ok but the surveys are rare. If anyone knows any other decent ones and wants to refer me, PM me.

Decided to alter my totals as I was counting expected amounts rather than amounts banked. Still very happy with my total and if I can keep this up it will be over £7,000 for the year, which I would be ecstatic with.

As a side note, I have some old coins (1854, 1927, 1933, etc) - does anyone know where I can get these valued or sell them?

    Cheers
