  • Hi, well not quite sure how to do this but here goes :

I just cancelled my DVD subscription but I think I will just carry on each month paying that into my savings account and I have just swapped energy suppliers so will pay the difference I am saving into the savings account too. The total for the two for a whole year is £285.88
    MusicMagpie £20.00.
Once I finish my next Uni essay then I shall get restarted on ebay again, I have so much of my daughters clothing to get rid of. From age 6mths - 11yrs ! And tons of my shoes which I don't wear or have never worn.
I don't think I will get anywhere near £11,000 but I would love to get one of my catalogue debts paid off.
    good luck everyone

Been reading through all the posts the last couple of days, some really motivating stuff, I'd like to join too (a little late to the party, my usual style!!!) So far I've got £2 I won today on a scratchcard, but I'm going to check all my survey totals etc over the next day or two and will update as soon as I have my current total!! Well done so far everyone and thanks for the motivation x

Happier today with how things are going.
I'm going to be getting about £8.50 an hour for being a polling clerk for a day in the election which is excellent, £179 pound for just a days work and training.

Dillidalli - I bought one, when it comes to health I'm not going to skimp! I decided to get the mains one which you can't use in the bathroom, but that's ok as I keep my teeth cleaning equipment in the kitchen as I don't want faecal matter on my teeth cleaning products!

I've only made £25 so far - well I have a few pounds from ebay stuff, but The £25 came from premium bond win. I'm saving £ coins in a vit C tube & buying premium bonds as then I won't spend the money. Not much interest in the bank so may as well buy bonds for me.
  • rictus123 - Gosh, don't envy you the treatment or the cost! Presume you weren't able to get into an NHS dentist?!

Could someone help me with a little query? I received notification today of a job on GFK but when I logged into it & clicked on the job details, all I get is a blank page? A thingy at the bottom of my page is saying that nothing on the page is blocked so where's the info?! Could it have something to do with all the jobs "available" on my home page have an "x" at the right of them - could this mean that the jobs have already gone & that is why I cannot get the details?

I have also posted a different query on the ebay make me rich thread if anyone also reads that.

I want to try the bingo sites but need to pace myself cos I am new to most of this & it is so time consuming, although also addictive already!

    Many thanks!

Had a good day with free bingo today, won £6.25 bringing my total to £15.51

Also got a £1.43 voucher for asda with their 10% less price guarantee, my shopping was cheaper with them but not 10% cheaper so I got a voucher for the next time I shop there, so will add that when I get it.

  • Evening all, totals seem to be adding up nicely! Mine is going Ok but a bit messed up at the mo - will do a proper calculation at the weekend I think and sort it all out... think I am on 300/400 ish so I am happy with that @D

Had a little realisation the last 2 days though - merrily listed my 6 Ebay items at 99p postage each (some sold for 99p as well) - in total it has cost me nearer £12... not good! Ho hum ,a lesson learnt - think my minimum postage in the future will be at least £1.50... on a couple of things I only made about 50p! However I have decided to pay the postage out of my own pocket and count it all as profit as that extra £5 ish on 2 days is manageable... hey ho - thats my rules and I'm sticking to it!!

Personally I am not counting savings unless I can physically save that money - i.e. cancelling a phone contract of £20 a month would only count if I then put that £20 a month in a savings account. I am hoping to have a decent chunk saved at the end be it for deposit on next house / holiday etc etc but I wanna see the cash! :D

Enjoy the money making all x

  • I read the free scratch card thread but I can't say I understood a word, can anyone refer me (By PM) to a site which has free scratch cards with a quick explanation?

Ebay items have done better than expected, making me £20.58. Completed my mystery shop today too, which I was very nervous about. Hope everything was filled in ok.

Swagbucks seem to be going well so far, what a good idea (thanks xmum2threex) and my toluna points are building up (slowly!).

Running out of ideas a little bit, hoping to find some inspiration within this forum somewhere! I want to try matched betting, but I haven't yet plucked up the courage to atempt it :rotfl:
