Hi. I just sold some Lulu face cream and eye make-up remover for £10.50 & £5.50 on ebay. They were free gifts with a magazine subscriotion (an xmas present for my Nan), so didn't cost me anything. Hope that helps.

The Lulu stuff sells well! I've sold the hairspray, shampoo and conditioner on ebay in the last few months and got about half of the (shockingly expensive) retail price for them (but paid 50p each for them.)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

Well i've had an extra morning of work so made £10. Pd. off my small overdraft! Right on schedule! Woo hoo!
I've got another mornings work in 2 weeks so that'll be another £10. I'm also owed £520 for the last 3 months work and am expecting a cheque, soon hopefully. With that, and the last of my savings £109 and my onepoll pay out, I should be able to raise another £677.80 by the beginning of Feb! My credit card is at £1131.50 Ahhhh! But should make quite a dent in it. x
Brill £14.60 refund from the trainline!

Can I ask you all a question please. What type of things are you selling on ebay?

Im selling anything that is not glued down on ebay! I have a DD who goes through toys and dvds very quickly, and I did downsize last year so i do have lots of 'junk' floating around.

Feeling very lucky and grateful today:j:j. DHs family just sent a cheque to help out with new car and it happens to be exactly the amount we owe my relative who also sold it to us at about 1/2 its market value.
so we have effectively paid £0 for a car that is worth so much more than our old one and far more reliable. talk about coming up smelling of roses.
New car is taxed till new year so we have got £85 back on our old tax disc. was not going to include this as was going to pay toward car. but, now the car cost is effectively cancelled out, that £85 is going in the pot!
    What amazing good fortune!
Em - seems like the visualising is working:D

  • Oh did a bit more O/time testerday but again won't add that until the money is in the bank.

Up to £9.10 now on One Poll but £40 still seems a way off. Not received notification of any surveys.

Logged back on to GFK - turns out I hadn't completed the training test so that is now done.

Bit worried about my 1st e-baying attempt. One of the items is a car for a barbie doll (a Barbie car?) & I myself would only pay a few quid for it but is it already selling at over £5 which is making me think I have probably got the postage amount way too low! Also have a snow white cottage which I only want as collection only & have stated this but was also advertised witha postage cost cosI didn't know how to get rid of the postage bit. I've had a couple of queries on it & just wish I knew how to now delete the posting option! Practise makes perfect & all that but would hate to think that people might think I am trying to mislead them!

Not saved anything this week unfortunately :(. Have 5 items on eBay currently at £120 between the so here's hoping that'll hit £200 at least.

I'm busy doing effectively 12 hour shifts writing up my thesis daily now with wee breaks here and there so little time to really get into MSing or such.

My personal challenge now is to have at least one item on eBay at any one time on a 10 day listing. I believe I might be able to get up to £1000 coming through eBay at least. Yay!
