Anyone know of any Sky Movies Xmas deals?? Im preferably after something short term, just for extra films for the nippers for Xmas as it looks like they have some good bits on there.
I called them and they said they could do me something for £8 (stroppy man on other end...didn't specify what) then transfers me to another dept. and they quote me £12 extra a month for minimum of 3 months which didn't interest me at all!
Anyone know of any Xmas special deals??
Thanks
Dave

Just rang Sky and they offered me the full Movie package for £8/month for 3 months instead of £16 a month. I can cancel at any time if I give 31 days notice
Seemed a good deal so I went for it0 -

same for me as well, one call, less than 5mins, 3mths for £8, 31day cancellation period0

On Sky Sports today they advertised £2 a week for Sky Movies for dual-sports subscribers (those who get all the Sky Sports channels) although already being a Sky World subscriber I didn't pay too much attention to the terms. It may well be the £8 offer people are talking about here.0

Im "not entitled to it" !
Called them yesterday and they said something about me already having been offered a movies offer at Easter (even though i didn't ask for it, or take it!) and therefore they can't offer me anything for a year after that!?
I'm sure sometimes SKY just make it up as they go along!
Thanks to all who helped though0 -
Thanks ppl, got the same deal after calling up today! yay!

I also got this offer. I managed to get my TV for half price about 2 months ago by saying i was leaving then called on Sunday and was offered the 3 months @£8 although he did try and tell me i may not be eligable due to the other offer they eventually allowed it0

Not strictly an xmas offer but logged into my account to see how much it would be to add Sky Movies pack to my existing package (HD, all Sports, Broadband Max, Entertainment Pack), and was pleasantly surprised to see it's only an extra £7.25 a month (pre-VAT rise).
Think I'll treat myself to this for Xmas. Oh and if you do it now you get £5 credit to your bill in next 60 days. Not bad!0 -
£7.25 is the standard price to get the movies if you already subscibe to the Sky sports channels. You might get a better offer than the £5 off if you ring up?0
