I have had my account for 3 months their welcome letter refers to your classic account with vantage.
When I log-on the heading shows classic-vantage account.
Hope this helps you:)0 -

I opened a Vantage account in mid-November and transferred in £7k. The welcome letter said it is a Vantage account but online it just says Classic account. I was expecting to receive interest in early December, but nothing yet. Is interest paid a month after the initial deposit? Or have I got the wrong account? (there is no mention of Vantage when I click on the Upgrade button)
Computer says no to Vantage. If your page is still showing Classic then that's probably what it is. Try this
1. On the 'Your Accounts' page click on the the Classic account you want to upgrade to Vantage.
2. Click on the 'Apply Online' box on the right hand side of the screen.
3. Click on the 'Current Account' link.
4. On the bottom left of the screen you should see an option to 'Add Vantage to your account'. Click on the 'Apply now' link.
5. Select the Classic account you want to upgrade to Vantage.
6. Click the agree to conditions box and enter your password.
7. Your account name should then have changed to Vantage.0 -
Thanks, a&akay, but that doesn't work either! Computer say "Sorrry we are unable to upgrade your account online". In any case I have written proof that the application was for a Vantage account and I would quite like the November interest. I guess I will have to phone them. Odd that they have no secure e-mail facility on their website. :mad:0

This may seem like a stupid question, so sorry if it's an obvious one!
I already have a Classic Vantage account going at the moment. I've been with Lloyds for years, but only recently added the Vantage, which is pretty handy really!
Anyway I want to open a 2nd Classic Vantage account and earn interest in there, however would I end up getting another debit card, cheque book, pin number and all the associated stuff that comes with a current account? I obviously don't want that as I already have it all on the 1st account.
Thanks in advance for any help! Much appreciated.

You can ask them not to send you a cheque book/card etc when you make your application:)Keep the Faith:cool:0 -
I'd do it now and put a few quid in; you can put more as funds allow.Yeah, hopefully that'll be the case when I have enough funds!0
