Yes you did the right thing, sad though it was.
He seemed like a good age for a rabbit? He's obviously been looked after well and it sounds like he had a good life.
Try and console yourself with that thought?

As a huge bunny lover (I was actually crying earlier when I went to tuck him in for the night and it's so cold outside:o) I can only say sorry.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

Such a nice poem. I am so sorry for your loss, it sounds like daz had a good life and it was the kindest thing to do. I have had rabbits as pets and they are wonderful, I was so attached to my Jason. Take care x

Exactly...even if he wasn't in pain, it's no life for a bunny being hand fed and not being able to walk around properly.
