Yes it’s another one of those great dilemmas
Do I leave a carefully constructed positive or a neutral?
Bought 3 identical craft kits on a BIN and asked of I could have a small reduction in the postal charge - each kit was £2.99 plus £3.99 P+P. Got 3 separate invoices.
Goods arrived this morning beautifully packaged with postage of £2.20.
Now I'm all for giving enough to cover petrol, packing etc but £9.77 extra is a bit much.
The seller has written me a note asking that I contact her if I plan to leave negative or neutral...so what do I do?

Did you ask about combining postage for a reduced amount?
I don't think the seller would automatically do this...0 -
You knew what you were paying it was all clearly in the auction and they gave you a discount..... what do you want to happen? you were happy with a 'small reduction' and you obviously got the kits cheaper then you would have elsewhere.

I would contact her and (politely- at this stage;) ) ask why she combined postage when she never gave you a combined postage discount. You are giving her the opportunity to explain then before you leave feedback.0

Did the sets come in one package then? If so I'd send a polite email requesting a small refund and explain that the actual posta lcost was £2.20. Lesson to learn - get confirmation of reduction before purchase0

If you haven't got a clear undertaking to reduce P+P before you bid/buy then you can not leave anything other than positive. If they ignored your request you can walk away. If they say no you can walk away or just agree and buy. You can't really moan after the event, you knew the cost.0

I think it's very cheeky of the seller to send 3 seperate invoices but post everything in one parcel. If I'd paid 3 lots of postage I'd want 3 parcels!
Email the seller and explain that by putting all items in one parcel they should automatically give the buyer some sort of discount, depending on weight etc. The only one that's got a discount here is the cheeky seller!

I agree.
Make contact with the seller; it's possible she missed your message about the combined postage. Nearly £10 over the face value is quite steep.
Just say you were disappointed that she didn't respond to the message about combining postage, and that she didn't refund a little money when she saw the difference between what you paid, and what it cost.
(I would have done - refund part of the postage costs - I wouldn't have the nerve to keep that much money if it had cost so little!)
Unless the packaging was really, REALLY special? My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Tell the seller that they sent too many items in the first parcel and you’ll return the extra ones when the seller has sent p&p costs for sending them back.
Inform the seller you are still waiting for the other two parcels – if they don’t arrive report seller to eBay as items not received.
You paid for 3 lots of post and packing, you only received one.
Ask the seller to post the other two lots of packaging.
It’s theft by the seller – leave negative feedback.0 -

And your comment is fraud.
There is no theft by the seller. Buyer should make any arrangements before buying. You can not complain afterwards. Whether the items come as one package or three is irrelevant the goods have been delivered safely.
It is advice like this that brings forums like MSE into disrepute.0
