computer crashes continuosly

can someone help please?everytime I open Mozilla Firefox my netbook (Samsung N140) crashes and the same when I open Word.There is a permanent message in my windows security alert saying I don't have any antivirus on my pc but I do and it's Avast.

Can't see anything obvious in those logs,

I suggest that you have a look at the Windows Event Logs (Application & System logs), to see if there are any pointers to what is causing the crashes.

Right click on Computer, select Properties tab-that gives the spec and the RAM (probably 1 or 2GB).
Then Computer>C Drive, right click on Properties and it shows the free disk space.

Your AV should certainly be detected by Security Center, so I would be suspicious about that-is it updating the virus patterns? Suggest you start by reinstalling Avast.
Does it crash if you use anothe browser, eg Chrome?
Did you install any new hardware or software immediately before this started happening?

The specific blue screen you mention is a memory allocation fault, sometimes caused by faulty hardware or more normally by software.
If it happens often i would need to offer some other advice, but if t only happens when you run firefox then try following:

Restart the computer.
Uninstall Firefox.
Update avast to the latest version of software and updates.
Install ALL windows critical updates.
Restart computer.
Reinstall firefox.

Of course you could try a different browser - Google Chrome is very fast

If it happens when you are not using firefox, then we can try some other things.

Try opening Firefox in "Safe Mode", to see if it's the Add-ons that are causing the crash.
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode
Tick the box next to "disable all add-ons"
