Totally agree...I had my induction yesterday for a big supermarket and this was discussed. It is plain laziness and inconsiderate!!!

I do this if I have to wait longer than I wish at the deli counter (due to staff chatting or going AWOL ect) - I order something extra to discard before I get to the checkout :p

If they waste my time - I will waste theirs ;)

Its selfishness really. If I change my mind I always take the item back to where I found it. People don't think about others anymore.
I bet most people don't even know what Christmas is (really) about.

Under our rules (and I guess every other shop) we HAVE to throw it straight in the bin and put it through as a loss, as we do not know how long it has been out of the fridge.

So is it ok to be in a trolley for 3/4 hour and then put back in the correct place?

Although my gut reaction is with the OP the problem highlighted in #16 and #17 could result in an even more violent gut reaction!

Rather than not throwing the food away the offender should be chased and payment demanded for damaging goods - if you touch it you pay for it. End of.

    Getting bladdered?

(Wow 100 posts!? I wish written something a bit more significant as my 100th post than 'getting bladdered' now. Pity.)
