i've realised Miggy that i really need to sit down with Mr LT and do a financial health check again, hopefully he will understand properly then the position we are in.
Maybe that's a job to do whilst we're off work next week. Once i've recovered from a few days staying with the outlaws.

I will be back to update my diary, it's on my list of things to do. Along with sticking to my self made flylady weekly plan which has pride of place on the notice board at home but realistically has yet to be implimented :(
  • Well done on the weight loss me dear - you're working hard on that don't underestimate it!

New houses take a while to settle into their proper budgets don't they - escpecially with the extra bits too.

Go easy on yourself and do a shiney new budget when you get the time as it does make you happy to move all that stuff about and update it.

    :)

Nice to see you again :) and cheers for pootling over, if I ever get a chance to take some time off, I may just come and stalk your garden - thanks for the offer! xx

Hi LT. Great news on the weight loss. Putting my jeans on yesterday I think I know where it went though ;)

Is it really 5 1/2 months since you moved?? I can't believe you've been in so long. Mind you DD is 5 in 3 weeks and DS turns 1 in November and I'm not sure how that happened!!

How's the work going on the house?
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

hi Starnac i know i can't beleive it either it's just flown by.
work wise on the new house, the bathroom & toilet is almost finished, just awaiting one days work from the builder and we're there. Mr LT has started putting the essentials on the walls and it looks really smart and posh.
We've now done the spare room so it's open for guests who would like a base to visit us. Especially those from foreign countries like Wales and Scotland :)
we've had the survey done for the windows and front door so are just awaiting a date for them to book the job in and we'll be all snuggly ready for winter.

critical things are to tidy the garage (again) so i can get my car in there, find the craft room/office (again) so i can start working from home again, and the garden which we've hardly touched. Though we've made an executive decision not to do any more decorating until after the new year.

Pippi, you know you're more than welcome to visit and play in the garden though it will be very hard work i won't lie to you. Maybe you should get Mr Flowers to get a boat and you can sail down to us, it may be easier lol

oh decided my two new obsessions lol
1 transfer into savings the 'you've been saved' amounts on receipts (last time i did this i saved over £300 in a year).
2 do the Asda price challenge on all my receipts, i've been lazy on this but the last three have netted me about £8 which is nothing to be sniffed out and it's money i've been wasting grrrrrrr!
  • Good luck at work and well done on the new budget xx
