    Hi Lemon

Sorry to hear you are having bother with the move. Solicitors work at a snails pace and charge you a lot of money for doing so. Hope it all works out soon and that today you are feeling a bit better.:)

  • Hi LT, been awol for a month and thought you'd be moved by now :( Solicitors are horrid, my last job was at one where they would repeatedly lie to clients about having not received docs when they were just in a mess that no-one could be bothered to sort, needless to say I fell out with them as I will not lie, apart from the fact I see my lovely, well mannered and wouldn't say boo to a goose mum turn psycho every time she moves house - so I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Fingers crossed it gets sorted asap.

Pippi you and Peedie are more than welcome, I've chased the *it's his fault!* solicitor today who alledges he'll be responding to my *current PITA* solicitor today. Just awaiting *PITA* one to sort her post and work out what *PITA buyers solicitor* wants this time.
I've told her outright when we've got holiday booked and that we want to move during that time whatever it takes. Obviously she's ignoring my correspondance.

Uni we've a matching red toaster already (forgot to mention that lol) but i'm on the look out for other things, though as i keep saying to Mr LT 'lets buy them once we've moved as it will reduce the packing reqirements'

new dishwasher is being delivered tomorrow so we have to find a home for it. I feel like the place is little more than a church hall 4 hours + after the jumble sale started! IYKWIM!
  • They're so carp, if I was rich I'd set up an honest conveyancing business to take the trauma out of moving house. The system is horrid atm, you give them a big fat cheque then chew your nails for weeks/months on end with no update then suddenly you're expected to co-ordinate moving your entire life with a bunch of other people in a chain.

you're so right Mrs, it's just madness, and they paid a small fortune to mess us around so much. I've already had to correct her on some issues, it's as if because they see a piece of paper for one thing they think they must see the same piece of paper for everything else remotely like it regardless of whether or not the other things are covered under the same regulations. they are worse than auditors! and that's going some lol
I'm sure we'll get somewhere in the end.

Our dishwasher arrived yesterday, delivery slot was 1.56 - 5.56 so they turned up exactly at 5.56. I spent the afternoon wisely though - spent it knitting some more of my cardi.

The hexipuff knitting is going well, almost at 90!. Someone has estimated that you would need 676 for a double bed so i'm aiming for a few more than that as ours is a king. They're easy things to knit and take less than an hour each and i can take a rest from my big cardi and do some of them to geta change.

Hope everyone's having good weekends, i brought some work home with me so should be doing that today as Mr LT is working but i'm too cold (lame excuse even if i say so myself)
