Morning Auntie LT, will pass puppy pics on as soon as soon as my doggie will let us take pics. She is being very protective at the moment.

They are very energetic LT, very mischievous (sp?) but very loving, loyal and great companions. Go on to you tube and look for 'the talking husky'.

why is it that you suddenly realise that you've not been doing so badly or that something significant has changed in your mindset?.

    today's example:

for a little while i've been earning a little extra each month in respect of picking up another persons job in its entirety in addition to my own, i even planned how i was going to use the money - 1/4 direct to Mavis, 3/4 in reserve in savings to offset Mavis at the end, or as now - to do some 'major' works at the new place when we get in there.

Basically i wasn't going to rely on it as being my normal wage.

Anyway, i've been happily going on my merry way when it struck me this morning that i have actually done what i said i was going to do with it :) this has made me smile as historically i've said i'd do the same with every payrise i've had or any overtime i've been paid and it eventually made its way (actually quite rapidly to be honest) into my 'must take home to balance budgets pay'. I think six years on this site has really made a difference lol.

Tomorrow is payday! thank heavens, but i'm not overdrawn anywhere, things are budgetted for, we have savings ready for the move, i'm not freaking out (well not much anyway) about the possible need to buy random insurance policies just to get my place sold.

boy has my life changed since i joined here - thank you Martin!

fine thank you. had a bad start to the day with a cheeky little madam (DD), a hailstone shower and finding out my favourite pair of shoes leak!

day is turning out a bit better though as I have glossed all the spindles on the landing bannisters that I can reach, sorted out another box of paperwork and actually filed it away instead of havin piles for this and piles for that like I normally do.

DH is off tomorrow too so thats a bonus.

I can't beleive DD has been a little madam, she looks like butter wouldn't melt. lol
enjoy your day with DH, Mr LT and i are off tomorrow as well but i've brought home some work to do over the weekend whilst he's at work.

when you've finished your spindles do you want to come and sort out the ones at our new place? they've painted them either dark $$hi-tty brown or aged white which has gone cream. I'm sure it made sense in their heads at the time. You've got time to finish yours though as we're still without a moving date.
