My verbal warning at work was more formal - manager, witness and two ladies from HR
I think yours will go down as an informal chat hon - nowt to worry about.0 -

Hi Lou,
if only being moaned at in a pub was a verbal warning. I would get one every friday.
They would have to write and invite you to a formal disciplinary hearing if they intended to go down this route. It is done in work, usually with a more senior manager/notetaker present.
Rest assured, this was not. Put it all behind you and move on.
Good luck.0 -

No, im pretty sure it doesnt! Perhaps he didnt want to upset you and thought lunch would be on neutral territory. Not quite the same as being hauled into the office with a witness to take notes! It sounds to me like he wanted to soften the blow as someone else said - he obviously thinks a lot of you and doesnt want to lose you. You'll have to be a good girl now! Anyway, pleased youre safe!!:DExperience is the toughest teacher because she gives the test first then the lesson

Want to hear something funny loopyloulou? I told my daughters that you were AWOL and the eldest mentioned it to her bf (in the context that mum doesn't have a life
) who in turn told his dad who is a cop
