omg why do people buy these heaps off ebay with todays modern world you need to spend at least £300 imho on a puter really spending £30 then wondering why it doesnt work is not the answer just wasted £30

I am a bit ignorant about specs, that why i asked.
There was a time when just surfing the web and emailing was all i did - but now there's so many other things.

If you have Firefox then install AdBlock+ and you won't get the adverts.0

if once you have settled on a budget post back and we should be able to advise better,, personally although more ram would help with day to day stuff i personally think it would be money down a toilet as you do really need a new system for anything more than basic browsing and email so you would be better putting the money towards a new system.Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0
