If I ever had a sales call that went over clocking off time, I'd get rid of the customer any way possible - which did not involve giving a discount. I wasn't being paid for this "overtime" - apparently it was part of my job to keep talking until the call ended. Usually this meant having to pass the customer through to "another department", i.e. the person sitting opposite me who had just arrived into work for the next shift.claire8606 wrote: »If you call at the end of the day, they might provide a better service, quicker and a bit cheaper.. As they havnt got lots of time to mess about on the phone.. If they get you on the phone that would like to renew with them.. i.e provide a better offer or even vouchers.. Otherwise you may go to one of their competitiors.
