A bit picky!!!!!
That's like saying Hitler was a bit misunderstood!
Sorry, but I don't think they have any intention of selling .... not now, or by June of next year.... or whenever they choose to say."Put the kettle on Turkish, lets have a nice cup of tea.....no sugars for me.....I'm sweet enough"0 -
Why are you wasting the other seller's time then?
It must be karma
Mainly because we thought that the first house was unlikely to ever happen. We were already to go and then the first house rang us to tell us they had a viewing (That they ended up not liking) which has thrown us all in a tis again.0 -

Let me start by saying we love this house and it has taken us ages to find one we both like and feel homely in.
We put an offer in for the full asking price in March (It's now December) and as such had a survey done on the property to support the mortgage application.
However the vendors are refusing to move out as they have not yet found somewhere themselves and do not wish to move into rented accomodation.andytaylor98 wrote: »We have tried everything including threatening to pull out but all they have said is that they'll understand if we do. We've almost reached a point of completing on another property but it doesn't compare to the original house.
It's lousy losing survey fees etc on a potential purchase that does not come to fruition but the house buying system can (and does) just sometimes work that way.0 -
Have you signed contracts yet?
If not, I'd move on and look else where, they are just stringing you along.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

you could drop your offer price by £4,000 per month........0

Remove your offer and look elsewhere, dont put your life on hold for the vendors as it may take another year. If you really like the house then explain to them that house prices are falling sharply and and they have untill January to commit or you will reduce your offer accordingly.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

I would sell, rent and as everyone says look elsewhere. If you find somewhere else then go for it and remove your offer. Keep your offer on the table until that time as it is not wasting anyone's time by doing this unless your vendors finally find a place.... To be honest they don't seem to be very keen at all. 9 months to find a place and they have still not found anywhere....mmmmm....0

Find another house.
They have no intention of moving.
If you offer was good enough then they'd have moved to rented accomodation already.
Pull out and move on.
Unless you can wait, say, forever until their perfect home comes to market in the perfect street by that great park??0 -
As someone mentioned keep dropping your price but be prepared to move on.0
