I have spent ages looking for the paper ones to find they have uploaded them finally online. I have £56.50 which will double up to £113.00 I am not familiar with the site but everyone is saying it is playing up so PLEASE can anyonewith decent laptop knowledge give me some advice. I can't post links here as I am a new member but I think anyone can look at Tesco directgo onto laptops and then do price low to high. I don't want a notebook and I don't want to go over the last one posted here.

I am concerned that I am not going to get it done in time through looking for paper vouchers unneccessarily.

Here are my choices PLEASE advise. I have a webcam anyway I don't know if any of these have. Ihad a Samsung previously, nt sure how reliable Toshiba are had a few TV's thatweren't great. Dell speaks for itself usually, never considered an Acer.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!

No need to rush the decision, I'm pretty certain you only need to exchange your clubcard vouchers for reward tokens by midnight tonight, not actually purchase the laptop.

You're clubcard points/vouchers will be redeemed as special reward tokens which you can then use to purchase the laptop at a later date.

-My mistake, it originally said redeem and spend by tonight but this has now changed to the 8th December so you have a couple of extra days.
  • Just noticed this on the site:

    Every
    £10
    in Clubcard vouchers gives
    £20 Computers eCoupon Code
    ,
    Computers
    New!
Token type: £20 Computers eCoupon Code
Category: The Big Clubcard Exchange / Computers
    Location: United Kingdom
You must have exchanged your Clubcard vouchers by 5 December 2010.
Due to some customers experiencing delays in receiving their eCoupons, we will honour any online redemptions until 8 December.
Every £10 in Clubcard vouchers can be exchanged for a £20 eCoupon code to spend on Computers.

Looks like they have extended the deadline anyway!

Well mine were on there, so I have no idea if they were added late or not so they may not extend-I can't find where it ays they will, equally if I'd be included. Can I redeem them and then choose laptop later? If so how? Sorry, it's just that this laptop has been broken and I rang Tesco a week ago but have been in and out of hospital and I don't want to risk it not meeting the deadline. I don't know the process of even how to redeem them and I am having to take such strong painrelief that it's hard to get my head round it all. Its just that because of my health I really need to get oneas it's essential for me. I just want the good all rounder I listen to music watch films and don't use it for gaming and I don't know anything about processors etc. or even how to redeem them.

The HP G62 is also very good but is only £349 at comet if you can find it in stock

I don't know if I have to redeem them and then buy the laptop or add to basket then redeem. I can't see the extended until 8th section, or if I'd be eligible. I also don't know if I can still go for the interest free credit option.

I am really grateful foran opinion. It's just the spec I am not up to date on, esp memory and processors/differences etc.

I DO have e vouchers already.

  • Here's where they say they will honour vouchers until 8th December.

    http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294963804

The website is clearly being overloaded with people exchanging vouchers and they are having difficulties with the site. I'm sure if you gave them a call tommorow and explained you were having problems accessing the site, they would give you a hand.

It definitely says they will take the vouchers until the 8th, so if I were you I would exchange your clubcard vouchers for the special reward tokens tonight and then take some time to choose your laptop over the next day or two.
  • It says they will honour "any" online redemptions until the 8th, so you will be eligible. Get the tokens exchanged tonight and then take a little time to choose your laptop.

I would also agree though that the the Dell is a pretty solid option.

    Good luck!

  • Use the link I gave you, scroll down to the computer section and click on the "more info" link.

Then click "+" to add tokens until you have the number you want and then click "add to basket"

Then proceed to fill in any details required and then use your clubcard vouchers to "pay" for the tokens. It might be easier to copy and paste your voucher codes if you have them on another screen.
