    Hi everyone,
Not been able to get near the computer for much of the day, and when I have, I confess, I've been checking out vintage clothing websites, and one blog just seems to lead to another, and to another and to another. I desperately desperately want to go to London College of Fashion for the week to do the vintage sewing course they have there. One day maybe!
Plasterer arrived which is brilliant! Everything is covered in a layer of lime-dust, and he was showing the kids the 100 yo. horse hair in the plaster. (he's a friend of ours and has known all the children since they were bumps!) Really pleased, as he's going to press on and put a lick of paint on the living room and up in DD2's room. The other good news is that in spite of my fears of the difficulty of getting the wood chip off (in the future) he and his dad originally did the room and sized the plaster properly, so it peels off like a mandarin skin. I'm so relieved it's not going to be a huge hassle to get rid of that dust-collecting wood chip!!!!
Aberdeen yesterday was huge fun. Going up again on Tuesday to have a day with DD1. She was working yesterday, and phoned me today to say she wished she'd been around, and did I want to go to the silk exhibition at the Maritime museum..... Boy YES I DO!!!! (so I is)
Not huge amounts of flying done, as I'm still tired from yesterdays concert (I confess, I was at a Hadouken/Pendulum concert in the evening with DS1 and his friends and I bounced around as if I was half my age...even after huge wool shoppingness! Having said that, I think I'll bring the tena lady next time!!!)
So I'm not bothering posting my list today as I just got my dailies done and a cupboard sorted out. Going to concentrate on paint/filler etc for C the decorator tomorrow so he can get on and have my house gorgeous by Christmas. (I am nauseatingly happy about this!!!) I may also do some knitting.
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.

Do NOT mention farts in my presence!:mad::mad: And, no, Sidney is not the culprit!

OMG what a busy day - up early to give Sid his insulin, persuade him to eat some brekkie, walkies, HHYoga, visit Bubbling Pot Bazaar of which more in a bit, 'nother walkies, general tidying and kitcheny stuff including making a tomato loaf, make potato & pasta soup for dins, Sid's insulin + dins, 'nother walkies..... I'm cream crackered!

Re the Bazaar.... there was a clothes stall, and I managed to get a brown and orange full length dress and a black velvet full length skirt for £40 for the two.:T:T:T:T:T Considering how I loathe clothes shopping, I'm pretty pleased with myself!:D

Ooh, Hippo Bathday Onestep... late on in the day, but still, better late than never.;)
