I'd doubt that an accident management/credit hire would take it on anyway knowing that an uninsured driver is at fault, Worth contacting the MIB to see what he can claim in terms of hire-car and out of pocket costs etc.I don't think their insurer will be willing to pay the costs of an accident management service when they're having to pay it all themselves because the third party was uninsured......
I'd never recommend one either, because credit hire can get messy.0 -
I think that if OP has to use car to get kids to school, then they should ask the garage about courtesy car while theirs is off the road. Also they should claim costs incurred as a result from the Motor Insurance Bureau.0

Opp, this can be a very long process but if you are insured and the innocent party you will eventually get your car repaired or the money for a write off. Your insurance company will sort this out. Keep on at the Police and press them to prosecute, there are too many uninsured drivers. You do not have to accept the first offer of compensation when it comes through. No advice on replacement car in the short term as DD didn't need one when it happened to her.0

Amazing the irony of people making statements snouts how they live when they were asking a completely different question.
If you can't answer the OP's question don't offer your view on why he drives his kids to school.
