Wireless keyboard not working with dongle

I am looking for a techie to help me as I know little about how these things work..
I have no landline as we are moving house and bought an o2 payg dongle yest. It's working fine (I am typing this from my laptop) and working when I plug it into the main computer, however, my mouse and keyboard are wireless and although the mouse works fine, the keyboard doesnt?
anybody tell me how to resolve this?

Remove the O2 dongle and ensure you can get the mouse and keyboard working. If the keyboard still does not work, then it may need to do a re-connection.

There is usually a connect button on the keyboard and a connect button on its receiver that plugs in to the computer, press both of these and see if the wireless keyboard re-connects.

If both now work then plug in the O2 dongle. If the keyboard or mouse stops then the stronger O2 wireless signals are interfering with your keyboard/mouse signals.

If so, then get yourself a USB extension cable, and move your O2 dongle away from the Keyboard/Mouse receiver dongle as the O2 radio signals are swamping the wireless keyboard receiver.
