This is surely a troll? Firstly, a partner like that would be an ex-partner within minutes. Secondly, a partner using my "facilities" to view that stuff without either my permission to do so or the brains to hide it if they knew I wouldn't approve would also be history!

What the OP needs some practical paranoia and a recovery plan.
She needs to assume that the worst-possible situation could take place at any time, namely that- her important files (documents, spreadsheets, music files, videos, pictures, emails - if held on the local PC - and so on) might become inaccessible, corrupted or deleted
- the PC has become so infected that it is agonisingly slow or otherwise unusable
- no access to the internet is possible
- back up, regularly, all the important user files (as above), to a rotation of USB Flash Drives, so that there is at least one uninfected copy of recent updates
- prepare for a complete reinstallation of Windows and any other programs needed, ensuring that the original CDs or recovery disks are available
- document the most necessary Favorites/Bookmarks in the browser(s)
- obtain all the user names, passwords, product keys and other data needed for reinstalling Windows and other programs, accessing the internet, websites, and so on
- ensure that a decent antivirus program is running and regularly updating its definitions, such as one of Microsoft Security Essentials, Avira Antivir, or Avast
I would suggest also that you get a cheap second-hand PC or laptop, if you can afford it, entirely for your partner's use. It will cost you a lot of time, if not money, to recover from a badly infected PC, and you run the risk of losing important files, permanently...0 -

There's a device called a gooly crusher which detects images of flesh and a big hammer comes crashing down between the person's thighs. I think it's made by Gadgets-R-Us.0
