if it said "cannot undo restriction" then you have already used all your code atempts, so direct unlock only
if code was wrong it would have said "code error"

just noticed you said you had tried 3 codes already, you only get 3 attempts on this model

Hi there, I've just acquired (thank you Tesco misprice policy) a Nokia 6230i on Tesco PAYG and would like to unlock to use my Orange sim from my old phone. I entered *#06# and got my serial no. hope that's the right thing. So now would like an unlock code please.

When I get a code do I put my old Orange sim in and then just type the unlock code in or do I need to do something first?
