hi all, after much messing about i've finally decided to bin the contract and use pay as you go
Currently have nokia 6822 locked to orange
Am absolutely useless when it comes to phone technology so could you please be gentle and guide me through this? Know i need my imei no but how do i get it please?

Yes mate what I need is your IMEI number, you can get this by pressing *#06# on your phone.

Heres the unlock code mate #pw+440977262746665+7#

To get the letter p press the * key 3 times
To get the letter w press the * key 4 times
To get the + sign press the star key twice.

Turn on the phone without a sim card in it and enter the code, the phone should say phone restriction off when the code has been entered.

have got above code up on screen but no enter details only "clear" on right hand side of screen, pressing green button gives me "emergency calls only" and red button deletes code and shows "INSERT SIM"...what am i doing wrong?

O.K mate try putting a sim card in (not an orange one) it could say sim restricted and will let you enter the code I gave you.
