You'll be able to get it unlocked at a shop, I think drahcir reckons £5 to £10.

I have never known Browntoa or drahcir to make any mistakes so it would be better if users tried the codes that they post meantime.

The phone was last used on the Tesco network about 12 or more months. The number I had with the Tesco sim card was transferred to my new mobile. The phone was not purchased from Tesco. The phone was formally on the Tesco network and I unlocked it using the details on this forum. I inserted my Orange sim card but it requests a security code before it accesses anything. Tried various codes that I have used in the past but no joy. I then took the Tesco sim card from another phone and tried it and the phone worked. I then took the Orange sim card and tried it in another phone and it worked. It seems that an initial security code is required before it will progress and I don't know how to get around this. Could it be because I am trying a Tesco sim card in it that it appears unlocked. I did not think that if you used a sim card it would lock the phone as the phone was not puchased from Tesco. IMEI number is 350103916476268. When trying to unlock the phone I have used a Tesco sim card. Help. Thanks.

Okay I've messed up 5 times and now have bought a cable. Can anyone help me with what to do next to unlock my nokia 3120 (my PC can't even see the phone using nokia pc suite)
