Sorry, “Cannot undo restriction” or “Not allowed” means your phone is now hardlocked, as you have used more than 5 codes and 3 sometimes, so the only solution now, is by taking it to a professional unlocker for direct unlocking, as there is no software or cables to unlock your phone. You are able to still use it on it’s original network.

o dear... would a market-stall trader have the know-how to deal with it? Where else could I find a professional unlocker?

I'm pretty sure that's one of the codes the unlock sites & software came up with when I tried myself earlier - and it said "Code Error"

Now I'm getting the "Not allowed" after only trying 3 times too. I think the newer phones have a lower limit on the amount of times you can enter the codes than before

Shame there's not a general "remove all locks and reset to defaults" code that works regardless!

Ah, well I'll take it back to Tescos anyway.
