i won one part of it (not received funds but atleast got manager to sincerely and publicly make an apology to me and fellow colleagues)
trust me seeing him face a group of people and apologise for his actions was priceless. i actually thought about closing the claim as that apology meant more to anyone then money can buy.
but with the voluntary organisation im helping out now i felt it foolish to waste an oppertunity where head office (whom did not turn up to the apology) actually endorsed his actions. so now i am continuing to get a significant charitable donation set up.
yes im not going to financially benefit from this. but at the moment my financial burden is my only motivator to keep persuing job prospects. so i dont want to reieve any financial aids beyond what JSA supply to cover the essential bills.0 -
If that is what you thought your post was, then may I suggest you rethink the way you reply. And also re read the OP. Nowhere did she ask for sympathy, and nowhere did she say she was spending on luxuries. You chose to have a rant about Sky TV and sirloin steak!!! She was asking what help was available, and you chose to wax eloquent on totally unrelated subjects! That is why you were "jumped" on.0

Even if she was spending on sky and fillet steak, it would take a long time of cutting it out to save over a grand for the glasses. So how can that be faster than a month for a DLA claim?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

The problem with good intentions mitch is that you truly might feel that way, lets give you that.
But when thread starter has made no mention of luxuries but I notice already later added that they were having to consider selling of household goods to fund the glasses which to be honest is pretty sad, that the constant link to champagne and you should have saved etc, when every household is different and who are we to judge, I mean I am a fatty right, I know that if I had not pigged out due to not going out much due to illness that I woudl shall we say have a figure still rather than look like a whale.
You see its okay for me to comment on me or receive comments on me with info I have given so digs about looking like a mrs maggoo crossed with jabba tha huts wife I would giggle at and not be offended, but when someone is genuinely needing support as said the teaching a granny how to suck eggs might offend.
TACT and compassion. I dont see that in constantly comparing yourself to posters or mentioning champagne lifestyle as help. I see it as a predator under the guise of helping who will hurt someone if they are not careful and say I was posting on here and offended I would not be insulted to have that corrected, if I truly had not realised I had done so. I would want to learn by it.
You dont want to take on board that more than one person finds your comments troublesome, I underneath feel you are seeking to get near to those who need help, just so when you are ready you can kick when down and hurt the most.
How is your job hunting going?
The reason this thread was resurected was to nicely show you that when you came hear six months ago, you got good helpful infomred advice with no one judging you, in fact they were worried about you it appeard to me and wanted to help. I cannot understand how when getting that kind help yourself that you can reply on other threads in the manner you do and because you quote a bit about dla, you think you know more than someone on it for over ten years. Yes we know we have to fill the forms in to tune of our bad day, yes we know an illness alone title does not guarantee dla and that it is the care and mobility needs of the day and night that judge so.
We also do not remember any questions on our benefit forms requiring us to remember how we should not expect the champagen lifestyle etc...that you keep refering to, you know why, they would not insult us that way.
Your posts are insulting that is why I tried to let you know and that was out of caring for other people like me as i know how low we can feel, no issue of stalking you, dont worry
I if read a post like anyone here and see it is incorect will try to help to correct it, thats how forums work, if I post and dont add all info then I am happy to have others correcting me for the benefit of the thread starter. We do not need to get upset about it or think it is personal to our post, but we should not also think we are being stalked if a few posters are needing to add posts for benefit of thread starter. I am worried your posts may confuse and upset disabled posters, but that is for the site team to monitor, but on an open forum as long as polite we are all entitled to post so dont feel you are being stalked.
you could perhaps take a sit back for a while and look at how others reply and see if they also use tough love to vulnerable posters, I dont think they do unless it is a case of suspected fraud and then they also use tact.
Best wishes mitch, no hard feelings from me.0 -
You asked mitch in your first post 'please give me some hope'
That stands will all posters worried or confused, you post didnt ask for hope with a bit of tough. If I had posted there that perhaps cut out your champagne etc....till you find work, then you would have been rightly upset xx0 -
The thread is still open :rotfl:0

You won one part of it by getting the apology, so are you saying six months later that you still do not get JSA or any other benefits? How have you eaten?“How people treat you becomes their karma; how you react becomes yours.”0

trolling moaning flaming - ignored
thread CLOSED - answer was given solution was found
i could quote your failings all day long but i have instead reported them to moderator. i would however suggest knit picking the one use of the word champagne which was a example and not a judgment., to which you provoked into a judgment of OP's life.
repllyinging yet again is still provoking, not giving up and continually monitoring and getting involved with EVERY post i mention without interacting with others (the OP's question) is stalking.
give up. i do understand i could have worded it differently but your own provocations and stalking, flaming tactics instead of giving an opertunity to see the errors of my way, turned a simple mole hill into an errupting volcano (far more then a mountain)
if you told me how much am i spending on meat, bread and pepsi per week to cut them out, and if i did buy chmpagne to stop i would not be upset.
my advice was to not simple go down that standard route of spending weeks or months filling in forms hoping for a positive DLA result. my advice was sure, sharp and to the pont. instantly affecting OP's finances positively if OP was to do it.
yes again i realises i did not end the advice with a hug and a kiss. but some peolpe want to hear all the possible solutions to a problem not just the one lengthy one.
so this is your oppertunity now to show that you are the better person and stop
THREAD CLOSEDi dislike the fact that i have to struggle on £65 a week being single with no support from anyone, yet other people get so much more.
lol i just wonder when i was working for sooo many years paying thousands in tax and national insurance, where is the support now i need it most
I realise my advice doesn't end with a hug and a kiss but take your experience and learn from it. £2,500pm is enough to provide contingency for a good number of months.0
