Still snow on the ground and icy pavements and its so bitterly cold.
No crafting today though -thought I'd do a megga wrapping up instead..........what a muddle.........couldn't get stuff to fit in the boxes for son and his girlfriend properly and then found a necklace and bracelet I found in charity shop ages ago for sons girlfriend. I'm doing a basket of ''edibles'' as well -brownie mix, shortbread, make your own snowman will fit in there as well and while sorting out upstairs I found another pair of bedsocks so a jar of ''sock jam'' could go in the basket along with sons ''pint of socks'' which won't fit in his box
So, tomorrow will feel like a repeat of today............b** !!!!
Still having found the bracelet and necklace I now how a reason for covering the little hexagonal box neighbour gave me............its just the right size:T
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

cuddles - sorry I don't have a link to the sock jam. I think I saw it on the crafting for christmas thread but can't be sure. I did one -just rolled up some plum coloured socks, put them in empty jar (some sauce mix I think) topped it off with little gingham 'hat' and stuck a label on.................got the label from primdoodle printables and stuck ''sock jam' on with some peel off letters I'd got.
    hth:)

jcr - same sort of thing only bigger.
Did mine today and got in such a pickle.........was fine till I was sticking letters on the label.......they went all wrong and when I peeled them off half the label came off so had to print it again and start afresh with the letters.............that done, tried to put fabric topper on and hold it with elastic band -3 times the elastic band pinged off  Got it done in the end and found some raffia to tie round it.
So, didn't get around to re-wrapping son and his girlfriends stuff, didn';t cover hexagonal box not have a go at cutting down a thick piece of material for a curtain for the back door:(
Still, the snows still here (going bit by bit but still like an icerink apart from town centre and I'm not braving our street yet ! And they're forecasting more snow next week !!
Plus side (there has to be one surely) I just might get all the things done on my list:)

No more snow but pavements still too slippy for me to venture out.
No 'crafting' as such but did get around to making door curtain for back door..........had to do it all by hand so took me nearly all day but I've done it :j Just need to hang it up in the morning and see how much hem it needs............(praying it fits ok!)

Then need to cover hexagonal box, re-wrap son and girlfriends and grandsons pressies, musn't forget to wrap OH's !!
Still need to get stuff for the lad we look after.....thought 'pint of socks' which I've got, and a retro sweet box -got the box but need the sweets -have to send OH out on a mission with a list I think.
More snow forecast next week so they say
