Well I'm a bit out of touch with mobile phones these days, I have an N78 I got 2 years ago, she has an older Sony Eriksson. Maybe something with a touch screen would be nice.

Carphone Warehouse has a Samsung Tocco Lite for £44.99 and you have to buy £10 credit so it is £54.99.It is touchscreen etc.

If you want a smartphone but can't afford a high-end one like an iphone, I love my Orange San Francisco (about £100). It's very easy (and free) to unlock if you're not on Orange, and pretty easy to replace the Orange-branded system with a standard Android setup.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

It's ok, no wifi, in reality I would let her choose her phone as if she don't like whatever she gets, it will be your fault! :o
  • HTC Wildfire is quite good for the price its not got all the features of the desire/desire hd but can be had for cheap if your after top spec then def get the desire HD
