I got this same email from Plusnet. No VAT rises great. However, I have had shocking service from Plusnet since I joined 2 months ago and when I signed up the reason I signed up was bc it was cheap, recommended by Martin and had free international evening calls to the US - which is where my sister lives. Last month I had FIVE WHOLE DAYS with no internet connection and got £1.54 in compensation. (To get this, I had to call every single day, for 10 mins at a time to speak to someone who would go through a process of telling me there was a nation-wide problem and there was nothing they could do about it, it was a BT fault in Edinborough. They had no back-up, no contingency and weren't offering any automoatic compensation. After 5 days of being told this, someone finally asked me about my computer set-up and it turned out that it was a problem with my router - something they could have told me on day 1. Which frankly, is appalling. And now they say they are scrapping free evening US calls. This SUCKS.
