Amoxicillin Capsules BP-500mg-Too big to swallow!

Hiya, As the title says, I have been prescribed these and have a problem swallowing big tablets anyway. I just wondered if there was another way to take them other than going back to the chemist to get the liquid stuff (as I will feel silly!) Is it safe to open the capsules and mix with a yoghurt or transfer to smaller…

I think im getting better at it and not worrying so much.

The 2nd one yesterday did get a bit stuck on the way down, but i just kept swallowing and it went. I seem to think it's really going to get stuck and choke me I think, lol (im a bit dramatic!)

I hope this thread can help others with the same problem as there are some great tips thanks to everyone
