Help please

I wonder if anyone can help me.My netbook is going a bit funny.Whenever I open Mozilla, the screen goes blue and the writing goes really small and then the computer restarts.I have run my antivirus (avast) and it can't find any viruses.The funny thing is windows security keeps coming up with a message that I don't have an antivirus on my pc while I have!I have restarted the pc many times but it gives me the same problem.Can anyone shed any light please?thanks very much:beer:

Go Into Control Panel/System/System Properties/Start Up and recovery then un tick Automatic restart. Then the blue screen will stay there and you can note the message and code. Then post that here. Also tell us which version of Windows have you got

have you run a spyware scan ? malwarebytes?

I say that as lask week saw some pretty nasty spyware on a pc which was coming up with the windows security warning well at least what looked like the windows security warning

I have disinstalled firefox and then installed again but the problem persists
I have run Malware but the problem is still there so I have disinstalled that as well

Which Antivirus have you got (ignore that it's avast)?
Do you have a home group/ shared disks in the home network ?
Which Netbook and how much memory has it got ?

Hi I have a Samsung N140.
I have Avast as antivirus.
I don't have any home groups.
The only thing is I wonder if I gor a virus whenI was accessing free wi-fi from a shopping centre?No idea what it is though ....
I have 1 GB of memory
