Forgot to cancel AOL 1 month free trial

Signed up to the AOL ‘1 month free trial’ in January. Just realised the anniversary was on the 14th so I have missed my chance to cancel the free trial. I trust I will now have to pay for a month’s subscription.
I just want to know that if I cancel now, I will just have to pay for one month and not be tied in to a 12 month contract or anything?
