Hello,
In light of the New Year reolution topic which is fab I thought it would be interesting for us to reflect and celebrate on what has been our biggest Debt Free Wannabe Achievement of 2010. So what is everyone proud of achieving this year? I know some people have achieved pur debt free status so that could be it.
we saved every month till October for a Christmas budget. The budget was orginally for everyone with the exception of LO which I planned would be an extra 100 on top.
My Achievement is - Not only did I get all Christmas Presents INCLUDING my lo in the budget but also 5 peoples Birthday Presents for 2011 :T Im very proud of this and Ive beaten the VAT increase for those therefore saving money in 2011 in true DFW style

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I had a 2 week amazing, once in a lifetime holiday to Canada. I saved every penny I could on top of my regular savings and am proud of the fact that I paid for the entire holiday with cash and didn't get myself into any debt.

Paying for Christmas with cash rather than CC or catalogues - and sticking to my £200 budget for everything. It was really hard but I did it and I think the children will eb just as happy as the years when I have spent £500+.Moving on up
