    He didn't, particularly.

Notice how the BBC packed the audience with would-be students, of course. Funny how these days students don't protest on political or moral issues like they've always done in the past, but only on an issue that hits their pockets, without a thought for the fact that taxpayers are having to fund their often rubbish further 'studies'.

He done OK apart from when he went bright red about student fees.

    Right about the audience.

Probably went bright red because he was annoyed.

I rarely watch Question Time nowadays – find the left-wing/PC bias quite sickening.

I think he went bright red because he was embarrassed about being a hypocrite who is in office on the basis of a bunch of lies.

BBC is certainly anti-tory but hey they were anti-brown also.

I don't believe either he or Vince Cable are being particularly hypocritical. They've both openly said they strongly believe the coalition is right to raise the student fees in the way they have outlined because the country cannot afford to pay them with the number of people aspiring to go to 'uni' (unlike in the past when far fewer people went to university, so that the fees were much more affordable for the taxpayer). However, the impression I get is that they may not be allowed to vote for the rise due to their own party regulations. The agreement with the Conservatives always was that they could abstain from certain policies.

Having said that, I think it would be a grave error for the Lib Dems to decide to abstain or vote against the policy – a sign of weakness, particularly because they have been involved in setting it.

BBC may have been anti-brown, but they were not anti-labour. They are definitely anti the coalition, and try to sensationalize, exaggerate and dramatize the slightest bit of trivia in order to rubbish it (almost as bad as the guardian).
