BT deal surely not better than Orange?

Hello,
My mum has just swapped her unlimted download deal with Orange for £15 per month (Which was on a rolling month by month contract) for the new offer from BT which was originally £13.50 per month (free for the first three months) but she claims she 'talked them into' making it unlimted downloads for just £3 extra.
Am i right in thinking that the BT deal's only 'downside' is that it will mean she is tied to a contract? (Although id say that is quite a big downside as a rolling month by month contract is a huge benefit)
Thank you.

I think the BT contract is 18 months initially then goes to a rolling month basis. I hope she has got whatever was agreed on in writing as ISP sales people are well known for BS.
I personally wouldn't choose either ISP as they both have abysmal reputations.

Why unlimited does she need unlimited . jje0

I agree with kwikbreaks there are alot of alternative ISP'S that can deliver a better service, to be honest i don't understand why users get all excited by large company promo price's then complain when they relise they have made a mistake.0

I couldn't agree with you more eldar, i just cant understand why she would 'fall' for the BT hype. 18 month contract too? Silly decision!!
And in answer to JJ egan, perhaps not 'unlimited' downloads but certainly more than 10gb!Not yet a total moneysaving expert...but im trying!!0 -
