I'm with your DH on Hamilton. Ever since he 'sacked' his dad I think he's got progressively more out of control and some of his antics over the last few races have been very
It was nice to see a red car win, but I'm not much of an Alonso fan and would have loved to see Massa up there. I felt so sorry for Jensen today though, he made a very sweet move on Massa didn't he?Murphy was an optimist!!!0 -
Never described hair as bra strap length - why not say shoulder length?
When I find shoes that fit perfectly, I buy two pairs in different colours.
Because my bra strap is quite a bit lower than my shoulders (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
These are £20 but you have to be a size 5 or 6.
Another one £49.00
Pink court shoes but in fake plastic, £17.00
Thanks very much! I am size 6, so they would've been perfect - sadly, I was too late to order online. I'm also a luddite about shoes, I feel they need to be tried on, so I don't buy them online....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

PR is "page rank" - Google assigns a PR to each website, from 0 up to 10. The higher the PR, the better it ranks in searches. A link from a site which has a high PR is good for the receiving site, too.
So PN means that a link from a PR6 site is very good for the lower-ranked site that the link points to....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Glad you enjoyed it! I always find working at a new place knackering - you need to learn all the things about where to hang your coat, where your PE kit goes, where to stash your maths set, and where the atlas / dictionaries are kept (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Then I went to the local/village school, so I walked as it was only 0.75 mile tops.
Then I went to secretarial college, which was just one bus and 4.5 miles away. Well, one bus into town, then we'd walk the last mile across town as it'd be quicker than getting a 2nd bus and there were 3-4 of us from our village on the same bus going there.
My primary school was walking / cycling distance (less than a mile from home). My secondary school was 7 miles away, and there was a school coach from the area - actually, 3 of them from Blackheath and Greenwich to Dulwich. It left at 7.15am, and we got back about 4.40pm. there was also a late coach, for afterschool stuff....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Back from Istanbul - that was a marathon weekend!
We picked Isaac up from school, legged it to Heathrow (literally, we ran through terminal 5, caught the plane by the skin of our teeth) and got to our hotel in Istanbul at 1am, Turkish time. We had a lesiurely start to our day on Saturday, and then OH went off to a last minute wedding-planning-meeting with the bridegroom and his parents.
We got tarted up, and left our hotel at 1pm. We then had to (or OH had to, in his role as best man) count people on to the minibuses at the groom's family's hotel, count them on to the boat, and then enjoy a 90 minutes cruise down the Bosphorus. The boat then dropped the groom's parents and us at the jetty, and pushed off for another half-hour, so we could go to the wedding venue and help get stuff sorted.
The wedding started at 4.30pm, and was held outdoors overlooking the Bosphorus - it was a wonderful place, and a breeze helped us not melt to death. OH's speech was both brief and good (-:
The party ended at half-past midnight, and we then got the English- American-Belgium contingent back on to the boat, then on to the mini-buses at the other end. We also picked up the three men who decided to fall over drunkenly on the quay on the way back. We got to our hotel and into bed by 3am (!)
We missed breakfast in the morning, having overslept - Isaac was most disturbed by missing breakfast. It's a proper start to his day. He cheered up when we met bride / groom / assorted London friends in a cafe, and he got a pizza and chocolate ice-cream.
Our plane was delayed in taking off by 2 hours, so we got home at midnight.
Isaac was angelic - he must have been utterly confused by the whole thing, and three very late nights in a row. But he was astonishingly well-behaved and cheerful. the only potential melt-down (over missing breakfast and going straight to lunch) being averted by the promise of chocolate ice-cream.
While I didn't have the shoes I'd intended to, the ones I grabbed from my wardrobe went pretty well with my dress, and I felt good. Might not have looked it, but definitely felt it!
This is the dress I wore - with a pink silk shawl Not me wearing it, obviously (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I also felt sorry for Paul Di Resta who was going well until his pit crew realised they had the wrong tyres at his pit stop
It's a great season and i like Hamilton's antics as it brings more excitement to the event :beer:0 -
Paul Di Resta seems very talented and is clearly from a good gene talent pool. I felt sorry for him too. It seems clear to me that Force India isn't his ultimate destination, even this early on.
With Hamilton I'm just worried where it's all going to end. He isn't playing a computer game. I remember how erratic Senna had become in his last season and he paid the ultimate price. Saying that feels sacriledge as I was a huge fan of his. We need to be thankful that we haven't had a death in F1 since, but we have had big accidents and there may come a time that Hamilton's luck runs out. Personally I prefer Jenson and wish he had another mega drive like in Monaco and Canada where you could almost hear the Jaws theme tune as he hunted Vettel down.
Should say I also feel sorry for Webber. I think he will end up somewhere else next year at this rate. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I wouldn't be surprised to see Di Resta at McLaren by the way Whitmarsh was was all over him.0
