You mean that huge bill we paid isn't seven rolled into one?:eek::D0 -

Thoughtfully the council have asked some of the outbuildings individually if they too would like to object. The Dutch Barn inparticular I think was excited to receive post. Another example of remarkable efficiency from my council?
I think the Dutch Barn and outbuildings could reply in favour of the PP.;)I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. DD has just narrowly escaped being murdered. It's a good thing I love her.
She asked where to find a paintbrush. I asked questions about what sort of paint, and to be applied to what surface. I reminded her that she's only allowed to use kids' washable paint. Went upstairs and got rung up by a friend - the sort of friend I like to have nice long chats with. Half way through a good natter, I got burst in on by DS, to report that DD was painting on cardboard in the "grown-ups' living room" with left over matt paint from when we redecorated the house. She's spilt some, natch - little blobs of several colours including bright red, all over the pale beige carpet.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I've called the Police. They'll catch whoever it was, don't you worry!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
the pale beige carpet.
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
ahem.
I seem to remember someone saying they weren't keen on beige carpet but couldn't justify changing good new beige ones for the ones theyt wanted.
Let her sweat blush and learn from the little red blobs while you put some money aside till you can get your blue carpet.
With little people painting etc might be aswell to do it after Christmas you know...so they can run in and out of the garden without you feeling you have to hoover for ground in diret all the time.0 -

I've made her spend some time attacking it with the carpet stain-removing stuff.
It's not looking too bad, but a rug is probably in order. I have to admit that the fact I hate the colour is part of the reason I didn't absolutely kill her - but then the main reason I hate the colour is that it's so unforgiving of spills and stains. I had been considering a rug just to decrease the beigeness, but thinking that the problem with a rug would be that it would be even longer before we wore out the carpet enough for me to feel guilt-free about replacing it. However, on further consideration I have realised that even with a rug in situ we can still wear out the bit by the door.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? I forgot to put sun cream on today and I've gone really brown on my arms.
. I've also started to get freckly arms. I suppose age spots will be coming along soon
I still have tan lines on my feet from spring too...which make my feet always look a bit grubby.
edit: another weird post but I've had to move three separate cars with people stopped in them for ''a bit of a cuddle'' in my drive tonight. Its a tempting place to stop, and in itself I don't mind but I feel sort of ''insecure'' with people out there, and you never know if its cuddlers or thieves so I always go out to check. There must be something in the air this evening though, to have so many at it in cars.I can't wait til we have gates.

Your house insurance might cover accidental damage and get you a new carpet - or a long way towards one.
