    Welcome Caroline!

Nice to have some new faces on here....not that the old faces were boring I hasten to add.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Hoping that wasn't a hasty edit there Sue...;)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I just can't warm up. DH is on his way home already to sit on my feet :) the cats think its too cold to sit on feet and one is on top of a radiator I've turned upand the other is under my jumper(Bombay is upstairs).

I don't know whether to take the dogs out with me to the station, the LR has no heating at all and it might be too cold for them.

My loo was frozen again this morning. I'm''relieved'' to say its thawed now, but I could hear the ice clattering along the pipe from the high level cistern downwards!

The schools made a sensible decision today....they didn't open until 10.30 which gave extra time for the roads to become a little more sensible, mind you, getting my car cleared of snow and thick ice was an experience as was trying to reverse up a ice/snow mound to get out of my space (resorted to digging it out in the end).

No snow here since last night but it is very very cold, my bedroom reached the lows of 14 degrees last night and probably went lower but I didn't see it as I was snuggled under two quilts, a fleece blanket and a cat sleeping on the end of the bed!

I remember a particularly bad winter in the early 90's (the memory of watching the wheels of cars parked in the car park disappearing under the snow sticks with me).....9 months later, there was a baby boom in the office.

I felt unable to warm up this morning; I put two pairs of socks on and that seems to have helped.
I've also bought a box of https://www.littlehottieswarmers.com for extra warmth.
