Awww. I'm glad you think he's a cutie.

Oh yes I know what you mean about dogs who need to go fast. Ours was half greyhound (we think!) so he really needed to run, preferably chasing something. He was crazy about balls and would bark and bark until you threw the ball for him. If he got hot or tired, he would take the ball away and lie down somewhere shady to chew it, and then resist giving it back to you, but if you got it off him and threw it, then he absolutely HAD to run after it, however tired or hot he was. He just couldn't resist it.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    sweet!

Ours will chase balls, sometimes, but big dog ..and none of her breed, show any real interest at all. I clicker trained dog-dog to pinteract with it, but its clearly for me and has not inspired her itself. She likes chasing other things though....

its funny watching her with slower dogs. She runs slowly so that they can almost keep up, then just when they think they are gaining she changes up a gear and FLIES. she's never played with other greys. :(

Thanks guys....rest assured I will not be actually moving the machine, more directing eldest like a work foreman!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

This is Dylan, when he was still a puppy, playing with isaac. He's a lot bigger now!

And my two cats, Elijah and Yossie:

It's nippy here! Nippy I tell ya!

Progress is slow on the new-site-build.... so much to do. Also, I don't build every site the same as I take the chance to randomly spot miscellaneous other goodies/bolt ons that would be useful in a website that's not been needed for others.

So, I've picked a theme - which still needs a header image. And I've done some basic tweaks to the design (it's a free WP theme that has 200 settings). And I've created one page and set that page as the home page. And then I kind of just nodded off.

Woke up this morning to discover that the DNS propagation's still ongoing and where I was working in the admin panel last night is now forwarding to my existing website. So, one thing you learn in IT is when to just let things settle... it'll come back, nothing I can do.

I should have done this 2-3 years ago really ... but like all good plans, it's on the To Do List.

At least I'm not missing out on hot sunny days here by cracking on and doing this site work.

Lucky Isaac, kids and puppies are good for each other IMO. He's grown into a very beautiful child NDG. :)

Good point. And be careful. Washing machines are very very heavy. The disconnecting's easy enough, but you really shouldn't be moving one.

Last time I had the washing machine repairman out, he just squirted a bit of washing liquid on the floor infront of where the washing machine's feet are and it slid out pretty easily without much effort.

I reckon even a bird could do it :D

I've just started reading the classic share trading book and I can highly recommend it. It's called Reminiscences of a Stock Operator and it's out of copyright (I think - pub. 1923 which makes it out of copyright???) so you can read online perfectly legally:
