wear sun cream. Its easy to think its just nice and warm but the weekend before last I got tan lines from my shoes.

I like my grey hair. DH tinks I should pull it out while there is just one, but its sort of ....earned.

OH dear, I just went in the garden and we have a wasp invasion. almost but not quite, biblical.

i have dug out a tree. very satisfying. now to get the bed ready for replacements.

must go and buy edging, sharp sand and more compost. I wish it didn't cost so much to get it delivered.

How much compost do you need?
If it's a lot you might be better off getting a cubic metre bulkbag with free delivery from ebay such as http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Compost-Peat-Free-Organic-Multi-Purpose-1-Dumpy-Bag-/170620628882?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Plants_Fertiliser_CV&hash=item27b9c82f92

1 cubic metre is 1000litres.

you can buy 225litres for £13 from wickes (or similar). So to get myself out and haul around some bags would be cheaper.
Unless I've made a mistake in the calculations?

Ooops, I just realised that I put I am 41 in my earlier post....my birthday is still 16 days away! I blame the trying to get used to saying 41 instead of 40 in readiness for my birthday....
