I was thinking of ditching the Post Office broadband & phone package at £25.50 a month for something cheaper as I hardly use the landline. I phoned up today for my MAC Code and was asked why I was thinking of leaving. Guess what? They could magically lower my line rental to £22 a month to be 'more competitive'. Decided to stay with them for the moment but if you are a PO package user it is worth haggling for a discount!
 Thank you to everyone who give their time to post comps on here - here's good Karma back! :T

Same applies to any ISP . Ask for a MAC code that you don't have to use and the Retentions team may make you an offer . jje0

The balance anyone has to make in this scenario is whether they want to be tied into the company for another 12/18/24 months. A premium of £3.50 per month may not be too much for some people to pay to retain the ability to walk away tomorrow if the company start failing to deliver a good product or if a cheap as chips option appears.Bought, not Brought0
