Anyone who bought Cheap XBox 360 or PS3 Games from this Website
Only Bought One and lost £5-99
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - OUT OF BUSINESS NOTICE
Hong Kong, October 24th of 2006 - Lik-Sang.com, the popular gaming retailer from Hong Kong, has today announced that it is forced to close down due to multiple legal actions brought against it by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. Sony claimed that Lik-Sang infringed its trade marks, copyright and registered design rights by selling Sony PSP consoles from Asia to European customers, and have recently obtained a judgment in the High Court of London (England) rendering Lik-Sang's sales of PSP consoles unlawful.
As of today, Lik-Sang.com will not be in the position to accept any new orders and will cancel and refund all existing orders that have already been placed. Furthermore, Lik-Sang is working closely with banks and PayPal to refund any store credits held by the company, and the customer support department is taking care of any open transactions such as pending RMAs or repairs and shipping related matters. The staff of Lik-Sang will make sure that nobody will get hurt in the crossfire of this ordeal

Got this news over at RPoints. Question is, has Sony shot themselves in the !!!! (or bum, censor allowing) over this. We all know how powerful public opinion is not to mention our wallets!!!So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable Christopher Reeve (1953-2004)0

i would love to say yes but morons will always buy the new PS3 despite how shocking it looks and line sony Inc with shiny pounds so they can laugh all the way to the bank, which whilst weighed down with all that dough will be a long way0 -
This is just Sony being customer focused. i.e. focused on THEM making as much dosh as they can out of their customers (or MUGS as they call Europeans).
Wonder if I can buy a PS3 in the US at Xmas and bring it back - will I get stopped at the airport by the Sony Police??You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
Sony are out of order. I hope they fail with their PS3.0

Sony put anyone out of business now that doesnt comply with their instructions.
A couple of years ago they took several companies to the wall for modding ps1-2 to play imports , several countries proved it was illegal to region lock consoles by sony yet the ignored it ...they also successfully got to pay less tax on the ps2 by classing it as a computer rather than a games console.
I will not be buying another sony thing for doing this to liksang , nor will I be buying anymore consoles at all that cant be made to do what the buyer wants.
The psp is also terrible , the screen refresh is abysmal and terrible for any good playing of games.
long live liksang0 -
Buy a Wii, then you can get a brand spanking new UK, one without any hassle for half the price of a PS3. And you'll have a heaps more fun. Sony have been a total bunch of ~rses in the past 2 years. They have dismissed both the customer and the competition and it is about to kick them in the teeth. The DS is thrashing the psp, and they have well and truly messed up everything regarding the PS3.
ROLL ON ZELDA THE TWILLIGHT PRINCESS, and a nice bit of fishing.Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.
EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items.
