New phone says memory full

Just took delivery of a 6230i with memory card. I've tried to download a couple of videos but half way through it tells me memory full, but it's a new card ?

Any ideas........

When you download something with a 6230i, or receive a file via bluetooth, it will automatically save to the handset memory, not the memory card.

Is the handset memory full, or almost??

You will need to move some files to your memory card in order to be able to receive these videos etc.

Moved all files to card, re tried, still says memory full. Checked out Nokia forum, seems a common fault on 6230i. Phone now boxed up and despatched back (7 day cooling off), now looking for a Samsung on a decent contract - 18 month half price or similar.

if its a memory card that came with the phone then it was probably only about 32mbs in size, so barely enough room for a couple of videos

Yeah I think your right there, anyway when they get the phone back they can slot that card were the sun don't shine !!
