    absolutely they should, i would expect nothing less myself but it helps if you notify them that you have something they wouldnt be getting daily.

    I don't disagree that they are 'supposed' to. I'd doubt that (in any bank) they do in reality.

    I'm sure it pays the bank not to employ enough staff to check properly and to deal with the occasional resulting error/complaint.
