ripped packaging am i justified to be disappointed

Surely with the amount of items that are sorted in a shift RM don't have the time to treat each parcel gently.
As users of the service we should be taking care with packaging, so that it's fit to be thrown around & go on conveyor belts.
staff levels drop every year
packet numbers go up every year
yet people think there wont be a knock on effect0 -
There's nearly always a hole poked in my packages when i receive them, like someone is checking to see whats inside, notmally the brown cardboard boxes.0

It was only thin paper so could easily rip without too much abuse. The second seller I wont score yet but i will let them know the same and see what repsonse i get. Of course i would wash the bedding before use but you dont want a soggy mess turning up on your doorstep if you have paid postage and packing costs.
Personally I would treat an experienced or business seller differently to a newby.
Since I've started selling I've been leaving some negs and neutrals which I didn't do before, because I now know I would like to be treated, the same way I treat my buyers.
If they are new sellers thought they may just need someone to let them know that there is a problem so that they can act on it.

I think your last sentiment goes out to everyone. All we ask is contact if there is a problem before leaving feedback. Then we can try to solve the problem, it's as easy as that.Lifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0 -
Brown paper is not really an effective wrapping material for soft items, as it tears easily, if you are not happy with it you are free to leave neutral feedback, maybe you should of contacted the seller first to solve the problem, but again they should of used a plastic envelope.0

the seller has sold a number of items as I checked so isnt a prof seller but certainly isnt a newbie. i will take the comments as advice and not leave further feedback until i have contacted the sellers. I dont think now they are going to want to here my comments

As above I wouldn't use brown paper for a soft item, I only use it on boxed goods.
As it is if it got there not damaged I wouldn't mark them down but notify them of what had happened.
Same for me - brown paper for boxed items only, plastic for squishy things. I would also not mark them down for this but just email to let them know so they wrap things better in future. I would be quite upset if a buyer did this to me without contacting me first and not giving me a chance to apologise. Communication should always be the first option to give people the chance to make things betterNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550
