Wiper Blades
Options
Need to change the wiper blades on my Mondeo. Just wondered where my fellow MSErs buy theirs from? Similar to tyres, I do prefer to buy the better quality stuff as I believe you should buy quality stuff where potentially you life depends on it.
Also is the FORD dealership sourced blades better than the equivalent Bosch / Champion blades as they seem to roughly cost the same? (£18 for front set)

I got my Bosch wiper blades from a local spares shop for about a tenner. I've got a Mondeo tooThe Richest Man in Atherstone0

go to Wilkinsons. About 3 quid.0

Don't forget if you go for cheap blades, on the Mondeo they are different sizes. Most cheap blades are the same size in the twin packs. People are selling Bosch blades on ebay for about a tenner for the new Mondeo.0

Yup I agree with the others. Bosch are the best!! Don't buy cheap. They r rubbish and don't last. they also don't clear your screen as well as the Bosch ones.
Try to avoid Halfords, go to a local car parts shop. They'll sell the bosch ones loads cheaper.0 -
I got my Bosch blades from speeding.co.uk
Although I dont use my car a lot I was dissapointed with the bosch blades I got as they do leave water on screen and I regualry clean the screen and blades.0 -
I go to the local car accessory shop. I only needed one. It cost me £7 and they fitted it for me. They don't charge for fitting anything either. I do't know what make it is but it does a perfect job.
They're a lifesaver to me as they change my lightbulbs as well. They're notoriously hard to fit on an Audi. It would cost me about £20 to get a bulb changed at the dealers.0 -
double post - sorry0

Cheers for all your replies.
At the end I bought Bosch Wiper blades from wiperblades.co.uk which for 3 blades (2 front/1 back) came to just under £21. This was cheaper than the local trade auto parts dealer.
I placed the order yesterday around midday and the wipers were delivered this morning! pleasantly impressed.:T0 -
LIDL were advertising wiper blades for £1.99 per pair today in the Mail. Different sizes etc.0
