December work lunches challenge

  • Well i've got 2 more work lunches to "not buy" for this month.

Today i've got a ham & egg salad brought from home and i've got some home-made soup in the fridge ready for tomorrow (cos we dont know what time we're finishing so soup will be a good light lunch if I finish early.

We've also got a tin of celebrations in the office to chomp on too. I'm going to have to continue this on into the new year - its enabled me to save up so much more money towards xmas presents.

    Keep it up guys.
  • Just thought I'd check in. Work is very distant from my mind at present as I dont have to report for duty until Wednesday, although saving money is not. So far I've managed to stick to the straight & narrow by the skin if my teeth - one day last week I got up too late to prepare a lunch & so grabbed some fruit & a tin of soup to take with me to work. This was supplemented by a mince pie from a colleague. I plan to do better for my remaining 3 days.Hope everyone has been more steadfast & is enjoying their festivities.

I am back in work tomorrow - booo. For tomorrows lunch the soup and roll is defrosting and I will take a few slices of gammon (cooked today) to go on the roll.

This month has gone well. I have achieved my 5 consecutive days of lunches from home, and so far 10.5 lunches have been taken to work.
