December work lunches challenge

Right i've only got 10 more lunches to bring in before i'm finished for xmas (other than today of course) that's totally doable.
Today I have a veggie and bean pot thing from M&S. It was bought on the weekend with the shopping so technically its brought from homw. Now usually i'd never pay M&S sarnie & snack prices BUT..they were reducing loads of fresh & ready prepared stuff cos the snow has kept the shoppers away and they were terrified of stuff just not shifting off the shelves so it was massively reduced! So I had a bit of a root through for the bargains. I have no idea what it'll be like but its hot and it was on offer.
Yesterday I brought in noodle soup & bread and a banana (cuppa soups are much smaller and easier to transport into work i've discovered).
This is saving me a fortune! Love it.0 -
Hello Mr Green, can you please add me to the list again.
This months aim is: 5 consecutive days of packed lunches.
The detail: 1/2 days are allowed as long as the second half is made up so they total 5 days and are consecutive.
So far this month I have been doing quite well, 4 out of 5 days I have had a packed lunch.
My office is on a homemade soup kick which has given me the impetus to make my own again and to take it into work. I cooked a broth with bacon bits. We did not have a soup flask so I did buy one half price on sale from Sports Direct.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Had homemade veggie soup yesterday and a bit of a mixture today of some left over veggies from dinner (potatoes, tomatoes and onion) with homemade goats cheese tarts. Not sure about tomorrow but have got some soup left over and might have pate and crackers to go with it.0

Doing really well. We've been having lots of tasty winter warming food at home, and i've been tupperware-ing it up and taking in leftovers for lunch at work. My trusty jacket potatoes and salad are still going well. Today i've reverted back to a tin of chicken soup, some bread and a banana. As its christmas some of our customers and suppliers are starting to bring in the xmas freebies, i've alreayd got a box of malteasers and a tin of cadbury's heroes i can dig into if I run out of brought in food - saving me spending my own money on emergency chocolate!0

Due to my uninventive nature when I get home from work tired and hungry I've been on Ham sandwhiches all month. Good for the weight, good the the wallet!
But....Christmas lunch at work today, paid for by my lovely company.
Definately happy with that!Wise man once say "When in hole, don't dig"0 -
Not been a good month so far for me, not been too well having a cold/temperature but well enough to come into work. So I have been buying lunches on and off so trying to not spend as much, so will have to sort myself out over the next couple of weeks so I don't spend any more money.Nearly debt free
