Massive well done to everyone who saved last year, that's AMAZING! :T You guys could put a deposit on a house - in loose change!!! What a feat. Here's hoping we top it this year, eh?!

another 2 golden clunks for me today - lost count already, which means kinda makes it all the more exciting.

That means I'm sad too!I keep shaking my pot trying to work out roughly how much I've put in, but I've already completely lost count!!

Another £3.30 in the pot for me today, change from buying the christmas crackers and the pudding for work on xmas day. We have to work so we all contribute and bring something christmassy to make it a bit less painful! :grouphug:

Edited to add: hope this is okay - but I'm putting coins 50p and under in a different (unsealed) pot. £1 and £2 are going in my sealed pot. That way if I need change as an emergency - say bus fare or (as last night) off to a carol service with nothing to put in the collection (!) I can raid the 50p and under pot. Every week I'll empty the 50p and under pot (bar £2.50) into the main sealed pot. I don't have a car or live near a cashpoint so I'd be a bit stuck if I wound up with NO change and needed to get somewhere!
