Morning all, rubbish weather here in the northwest but my saving spirit won't be dampened!

Yes we are fine Well I am!!! Not too bad here but very cold suppose to get snow tomorrow night or Saturday. Just in time for that last minute shopping thank goodness I have done most of it!

This Morning i didnt have enough change in my purse for the kids bus fares to school, so reluctantly had to raid my pot

Its not all bad, just bad planning, ive been popping all my change into my pot each evening, and i forgot to take into account their bus fares last night, i did replace the £4 out with £5 note in

My pot is now resealed with gaffer tape, and i have decided to use a smaller pot during the week and transfer all cash collected during the week into the main sealed pot once a week. if that makes sense ?

Promise not to do it again :A its a lesson learned .

I'm Preston end so not too far from Liverpool but yes it's bigger than L'pool :rotfl::D

Hi tinkertaylor05 (thank you for the lovely comments) and queengoomba, very windy down here and the rain's doing it's best to get in. Nothing like yours up there though - yet! Look out tomorrow - we'll FREEZE!!! :eek: We've got a Carol Service at the school for our little Grandkiddies, looks like a wet walk down.......and blown back.:D

Not tomorrow yet, LC 2 the way we're going that'll come 2 days later than the day before yesterday. No worries, the *Grand Total* will be given out tomorrow - Friday!

misskaytee, your plan in the penultimate paragraph makes perfect sense to me, well thought out. BTW, what the duce are jacksons??

Hiya Kerfuffle, our next lot of cold weather is tomorrow (Fri), though we've only just got over the last. A bit like you in Canada it's come in much earlier this year.....a white Christmas maybe??!!!! :j Well done on your savings too, for you it's really good!! Anyone who knows how difficult it is for you to save will know you done good!
